TVS NTORQ 150 Launched in India at ₹1.19 Lakh

TVS Motor Company has launched the much-awaited TVS NTORQ 150, which the brand calls India’s first hyper sport scooter. Priced at an introductory ₹1.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), the NTORQ 150 is aimed at Gen Z and young riders who demand performance, style, and cutting-edge technology.
Performance and Engine
The new scooter is powered by a 149.7cc, air-cooled, O3C Tech engine that produces 13.2 PS at 7,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. TVS claims the NTORQ 150 can accelerate from 0–60 km/h in just 6.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 104 km/h, making it one of the quickest scooters in its class.
The engine is paired with a CVT automatic transmission and features two riding modes: Street and Race.
Design and Styling
While the NTORQ 150 draws inspiration from the NTORQ 125, its design is more aggressive and futuristic. Key highlights include:
- Quad LED projector headlamps with sharp DRLs
- Split LED tail-lamps for a sportier appeal
- Bold, muscular body panels with race-inspired styling
- 12-inch alloy wheels
The scooter also features adjustable brake levers, a segment-first feature, adding to rider convenience.

- Standard Variant: ₹1.19 lakh (ex-showroom)
- Top Variant: ₹1.29 lakh (ex-showroom) – adds a color TFT display and advanced connected features

TVS Motor’s Statement
Speaking at the launch, Gaurav Gupta, President – India 2W Business, highlighted that the NTORQ 150 reflects TVS Motor’s focus on innovation and youth-centric products. He emphasized that the scooter blends race-inspired performance, advanced connectivity, and segment-first safety features.
Adding to this, Aniruddha Haldar, Senior Vice President – TVS Motor Company, stated that the NTORQ 150 is designed to thrill Gen Z riders, combining hyper futuristic design, hyper tuned performance, and hyper connected technology to elevate the NTORQ brand.
