On Thursday afternoon, Amaal said on Instagram, “I’ve reached a point where I can no longer keep silent about the pain I’ve endured.” For years, I’ve been made to feel less than I am, despite working long hours to provide a safe environment for my people, canceled every ambition of mine to find myself being spoken down to and wondering what I’ve ever done,” elaborating on how he spent his ‘blood’, ‘sweat’, and ‘tears’ over the last decade on his ‘126 melodies’.

He also blamed his parents, claiming that he and his brother made everything easy for them and that they “have changed the narrative of being called XYZ’s nephew or son,” adding, “The journey has been excellent for both of us, but the actions of my parents constitute the reason we as brothers became too far from one another, and all of this has made me step in for myself as it has left a very deep scar across my heart.”
Amaal went on to explain how his parents’ activities had harmed his well-being and confidence, saying, “Over the years, they have taken every opportunity to undermine my friendships, relationships, mindset, and self-esteem.” However, he advised me to ‘ march on’ and believe in myself. Furthermore, asserting that all they have accomplished has been at the cost of merely ‘one mind’ that is his, “I believe I am unshakeable. Everything we stand on today stems from a single intellect, mine, and the blessings of the Almighty.”
He also admits to being ‘robbed of tranquility, drained emotionally and possibly financially,’ breaking his silence on being clinically depressed. “What matters is that I am clinically depressed as a result of these events. Yes, I only have myself to blame for my conduct, but my self-esteem has been harmed numerous times by the deeds of loved ones who stole pieces of my soul.”
Finally, Amaal broke his silence in a conclusive statement and announced severed relations with his family. “Today, with a heavy heart, I declare that I am ending these intimate relationships. From now on, my interactions with my family will be entirely professional. This is not an angry decision, but rather one motivated by the desire to recover and regain my life. I will not let the past rob me of my future any longer. “I’m determined to rebuild my life piece by piece, with honesty and strength.”
